This is what I believe...

The Vigo County School Board must at all times be prudent stewards of tax payer monies while at the same time balancing the current and future needs of our students so that upon graduation they are prepared to either further their education or compete for sustaining wage jobs in a global economy.

The outcome of our children’s education should not be a line item on the Administration’s or School Board’s Agenda, it should be the only item, everything else is secondary.

Every child must have an equal opportunity in academics, athletics and the arts regardless of their economic situation or geographic location.
 

Teachers are not just employees but are partners in the educational process of our children and should be competitively compensated and treated with respect.

The business dealings of both the Administration and the School Board must be transparent and both are equally accountable to the citizens of Vigo County for their decisions.

About Me

Bikes for Tykes

In 1997 I created the program Bikes for Tykes. This program is still active today and run through Chances and Services for Youth.

After School Tutoring

Created the after school tutoring programing at Lost Creek Elementary while I was PTO President. 

Girls Intramural 

Built the first girls intramural basketball program in Vigo County.
